Billy's typing speed

I found some relevant information about this in one of the books he published in the early days. At the beginning of Das Buch OM, Omfalon Murado (1987) there are some pages marked Erklärungen which means statements in English and I have translated the relevant statement about this below

Contact Reports

January 28, 1975 - October 31, 1984. A total of 196 contact reports with a total manuscript length of 1918 typewritten pages. From the first contact with Semjase to the last contact with Quetzal, Billy had to write down the conversations word for word after each meeting with the Pleiadians. In order to enable a very accurate recording, the Pleiadian contact persons used a device that recorded the conversations verbatim directly from the subconscious of the Pleiadians. 

The same device sent telepathic impulses, on the basis of which Billy then was able to write down the contact reports. Initially, the Pleiadian contact person and Billy had to agree on a specific time for the transmission, because originally it was not possible for the transmission device to store the content of the conversation. Only further development of the device by Quetzal made this possible, which gave Billy greater independence in choosing the time for the recordings.  

Later, after Billy had obtained a faster electronic typewriter, Quetzal made further changes to the transmission device and to Billy's new typewriter, which allowed Billy to write down the reports at a very fast pace. This was primarily necessary because of the enormous manual and organizational workload Billy was exposed to, which often left him little time to receive the contact reports.  

(There are video and audio recordings that prove that Billy typed around 1,200 characters per minute during the telepathic transmission. Engelbert Wächter, who witnessed one such telepathic transcription, vehemently confirms this fact. Quetzal calculated that one minute of telepathic transcription at this speed corresponded to exactly 23 minutes of extremely hard manual labor. In addition to this fact, it must be noted that Billy can only write with one hand, as he lost his left arm above the elbow in a bus accident on August 3, 1965, in Iskenderun, Turkey.)  

The transmission of the contact reports was discontinued after October 31, 1984, after Quetzal realized that this extremely strenuous work, which required Billy's utmost concentration, was placing too much strain on his health. Billy was unable to record the last 42 contact reports until the end of the contacts with the Pleiadians.

28. Januar 1975 - 31. Oktober 1984. Insgesamt 196 Kontaktberichte mit einem Manuskriptumfang von total 1918 Schreibmaschinen-Seiten. Seit dem ersten Kontakt mit Semjase bis zum letzten Kontakt mit Quetzal, hatte Billy nach jedem Treffen mit den Plejadiern die Gespräche wortgetreu niederzuschreiben. Um eine ganz genaue Aufzeichnung zu ermöglichen, wurde von den plejadischen kontaktpersonen ein Gerät zu Hilfe genommen, das direkt aus dem Unterbewussten der Plejadier die stattgefundenen Gespräche wörtlich aufzeichnete. 

Dasselbe Gerät sendete telepathische Impulse, aufgrund derer Billy dann die Kontaktberichte niederschreiben konnte. Anfänglich musste zwischen der plejadischen Kontaktperson und Billy ein genauer Zeitpunkt für die Uebermittlung vereinbart werden, denn ursprünglich war es nicht möglich, dass das Uebermittlungsgerät den Gesprächsinhalt speichern konnte. Erst eine Weiterentwicklung des Gerätes durch Quetzal ermöglichte dies, was für Billy zu einer grösseren Unabhängigkeit bezüglich der Zeitwahl für die Aufzeichnungen führte.  

Zu späterem Zeitpunkt, nachdem Billy eine schnellere elektronische Schreibmaschine erhalten hatte, nahm Quetzal weitere Aenderungen am Uebermittlungsgerät und an Billys neuer Schreibmaschine vor, die es Billy erlaubten, die Berichte in sehr grossem Tempo niederzuschreiben. Dies war in erster Linie notwendig wegen der enormen manuellen und organisatorischen Arbeitsbelastung, welcher Billy ausgesetzt war, und die ihm oft kaum Zeit liess, um die Kontaktberichte entgegenzunehmen.  

(Es bestehen Video- und Tonbandaufzeichnungen, die beweisen, dass Billy während der telepathischen Uebermittlung rund 1200 Anschläge pro Minute machte. Engelbert Wächter, der Augenzeuge einer solchen telepathischen Einschreibung war, vertritt diese Tatsache vehement. Quetzal berechnete, dass eine Minute telepathischen Einschreibens in diesem Tempo ganz genau 23 Minuten schwerster manueller Arbeit entsprach. Zusätzlich zu dieser Tatsache muss beachtet werden, dass Billy nur mit einer Hand schreiben kann, da er den linken Arm bis über den Ellbogen durch einen Autobus-Unfall am 3. August 1965 in Iskenderun, in der Türkei, verloren hatte.)  

Die Uebermittlung der Kontaktberichte wurde nach dem 31. Oktober 1984 eingestellt, nachdem Quetzal festgestellt hatte, dass Billy durch diese überaus anstrengende Arbeit, die von ihm höchste Konzentration erforderte, gesundheitlich zu sehr belastet wurde. Die letzten 42 Kontaktberichte bis zum Ende der Kontakte mit den Plejadiern konnte Billy nicht mehr aufzeichnen.
