Travelling faster than light. Is it possible when considering the theory of relativity?
By Kåre Bergheim 11th of January 2026
I think this is a very crucial question that would have been forwarded to Billy many times.
And this is also something Billy brought up in his book “ Auf den Tiefen des Weltenraums…Kontakte mit den Plejadiern/Pejaren (1997) “ where he writes that with the beautiful regularity of a clockwork, people repeatedly come to him with the question of how his extraterrestrial friends manage to cover the great distance of around 500 light years from the Pleiades/Plejaren to Earth, since Earth scientists claim that the speed of light cannot fundamentally be exceeded.
He thinks this is a foolish assertion, at least when it comes to signal transmission and he gives a three point justification for why the speed of light is not the ultimate speed limit.
First point.
So Billy goes on to write that although Albert Einstein also denied the possibility of space travel at the speed of light in his theory of relativity, this in no way means that he was right, because the Pleiadians/Plejaren have long proven that travel at the speed of light is indeed real. One could say that Einstein's statement merely meant that space travel at ordinary light speed is not possible, which, however, does not apply to faster-than-light travel.
But did he really mean that, or was he simply way off in this regard? Is a question Billy asks and he goes on to write that “ Be that as it may, in any case, science has now proven that at least signal transmission at multiple times the speed of light is possible.”
Second point
However, he himself always contributed to this because, for security reasons, he did not want to have such information that could possibly be forcibly extracted from him.
“How they may, and when one day they are able to do so, then they must acquire their knowledge on their own.The dangers would be far too great if the earthlings suddenly had such technical knowledge as the extraterrestrials do.” Billy writes and continues; In fact, it would be like pouring oil on the fire if such knowledge were handed over to Earth humans, because it has been proven that, since time immemorial, every invention has been repurposed and misused for negative, murderous, warlike, and power-hungry purposes, which is still the case today.
And if the extraterrestrials were to assist the people of Earth in their technological development by simply revealing the secrets, it would be tantamount to a betrayal of life itself as well as a betrayal of the guiding and life-protecting directives of the Pleiadians/Plejaren.
Billy further states that humankind has already caused enough destruction across the entire planet and all its life forms; just consider, for a moment, the many nuclear tests and the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well as the numerous commercially used atomic explosions that created huge lakes and so on. And consider all the elemental natural disasters, the hurricanes, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions, as well as the radioactive contamination, which have all collectively resulted from all these nuclear tests and the commercial use of atomic bombs across the entire Earth—something that is still vehemently denied by completely irresponsible statesmen, nuclear physicists, and other scientists.
Just looking at it from this perspective, he goes on, the Pleiadians and himself would be committing a crime against humanity and the planet if they were to reveal any secrets of extraterrestrial technology. Every human on Earth will have to come to terms with this, whether they like it or not, because he has no intention of disclosing or discussing things that he know about, which is why he cannot provide precise explanations or details—even though his knowledge regarding these matters is very limited.

Even in scientific circles, more and more people are appearing who raise their voices and state that they consider faster-than-light speeds to be entirely possible. Billy here refers to one article written back in the day but I am not going to go into that article but rather mention that there are similar articles around on the internet I found one by just by googling around a bit like this one ‘Beam smashes light barrier’. So Billy's point (referring to another article) is that recent experimental evidence shows that the speed of light can indeed be far exceeded.
The second point Billy makes is that the Pleiadians/Plejarans, with their 8,000 years of technological advancement, are far ahead of humans on Earth and immensely superior, so it is no wonder that the term faster-than-light speed is part of their everyday language. And given their enormous technological development compared to humans on Earth, it is not surprising that they possess technical knowledge and skills that to humans appear not only incredible but fantastic and utopian, especially when it comes to these extraterrestrials achieving multiple times the speed of light with their spacecraft, enabling them to travel across the entire universe, through other dimensions, and through time at will with their exotic-looking propulsion systems.
Third point
Third point
The third point Billy makes is that understandably, practically every technically interested person wants to learn more about faster-than-light propulsion systems as well as normal propulsion systems and receive information on how they work in reality. However, he cannot provide such details, because on the one hand, he writes he is completely ignorant about these technical matters and, on the other hand, the Pleiadians/Plejaren provided him with very little information about these things.
